We have been developing nasal applications since the mid 1990s. For example, we are proud to have invented the first nasal OTC multi-dose container functioning without any preservatives, being a big sensation at the time. We used it for an OTC solution containing sea salt: Rhinomer was the most successful pharmaceutical introduction in 1994.
About 220 patents and trademarks
Rhinomer brought us to work on preservative free galenic solutions for nasal applications. Our work – resulting in about 220 patents and trademarks in the field of nasal application – ultimately paved the way to our actual proprietary nasal application technology, comprising our carrier gel matrix Silcum, our mono-dose device Lecticula, and our filling line Maxima.
Back then, it was Rhinomer.
